The Landscape of Memory
The Landscape of Memory is a series of images created to reflect
on the passage of
time. These images are stories, which speak of our lives. A smell,
a color, a dream evoke a visual memory within each of us, of joy,
loss, sensuality, of a time past, a fleeting moment. These
continuous moments in life evoke a mood, causing one to
remember, reflect and define that time.
Using symbols and icons with which to communicate ideas
and express sentiments, the aim to entice the viewer to
remember and question the vagaries of one's life.
All work is printed on Hand Made Japanese Kozo paper. The
unique characteristics of this quality paper soften the images,
encouraging personal reflection. Hand printing on Japanese Kozo
paper gives each printed piece a unique quality.
